LAWYER. ENTREPRENEUR. PUBLIC SCHOOL PARENT. LEADER.
Delia has lived in Lewisville for 20 years. As a lawyer, she has made it her personal mission to expand opportunity and give back to Denton County. Delia started her own law practice in 2014. Before that, she managed the Denton office of Legal Aid of Northwest Texas. It was there she first identified a need to expand access to the judicial system. Throughout her career, she has collaborated with community partners to establish free legal clinics and help educate small business owners, parents, and students alike. Delia and her husband Darwin have been married for over 20 years. Their son is a student in Lewisville public schools, and their daughter is starting her first year at Texas Woman’s University. Delia is a 1995 graduate of Southern Methodist University School of Law. As an undergrad at SMU, she double-majored in economics and journalism.
